Pick a market view. Build the product.
Every product of the SSPA Swiss Derivative Map, on daml-sspa's Daml templates: tune its terms, play a life of the underlying, and take away a Daml Script that settles it on a ledger.
What the note pays in total, against the underlying's final fixing.
Drag the fixings to give the underlying a life; the cash falls due as it would on the ledger.
The building blocks of the claim tree, added up.
The map. The SSPA Swiss Derivative Map sorts Swiss structured products into five categories and 24 product types, each with a market expectation. Pick a view, or describe it, and the products that suit it stand out.
The terms. Every product here is a Daml template in daml-sspa, built on daml-finance. The terms you set are the fields of its Originate (or Create) choice, with the same names.

The life. The underlying is fixed every quarter. Barriers are observed on those fixings, coupons fall due on them, and a credit event lands mid-quarter. The cash shown is what the claim tree pays on that life.
The script. The Daml tab writes a Daml Script that originates the note, publishes the fixings, lifecycles the instrument on each date, claims and settles every effect, and asserts that the investor received the total shown here. Save it under daml/Sspa/Lab/ in daml-sspa and run daml test.
